Last Thursday Leanne & Tina jetted to Brisbane for the 2018 WISTA National Conference. In our busy social media crazy world we often forget the importance of being in a live face-to-face setting with others from the business community.
We truly believe there is power in being connected to other people who are active in your line of work but it can also be easy to talk yourself out of committing to that annual meeting year after year. At Insync we love meeting our freight & logistics colleagues from all over Australia.
No matter how experienced you are at your business, everyone can learn. Working in a small business venture can often be isolating, and without exposure to a variety of points of view, we can miss new ideas and trends that can impact future results.
We love the educational aspect of a conference that can expose us to new ways of conducting our business and help us discover how to be more productive.
Port of Brisbane visit
As part of the WISTA conference Leanne & Tina were invited for a behind the scenes tour of Port of Brisbane. Port of Brisbane currently is the third busiest port in Australia and the nation’s fastest growing container port.
